Jaguar XK140DHC
When Jaguar presented the XK120 at the "London Motor Show" in 1948 as a stopgap solution, they were surprised by the success of the sports car. In 1954 it was replaced by the successor model XK140. Technically the car remained very close to its predecessor, but there were many changes in the details.
The XK140 on sale is a very early model. It was the sixth Drop Head Coupe with right-hand drive and was delivered by Henlys in London in 1955. In 1985 the car came to Switzerland and was completely restored in 2000-2005. The Jaguar is "matching numbers" and painted in its original colour "pastel blue". Its last owner drove the XK regularly. It is optically and technically in excellent condition with a nice patina.
