Bentley 3.5 Arthur Mulliner Sports Saloon
The Bentley 3.5 was the first model to be introduced after the takeover by Rolls-Royce in 1931. It was built from 1933-38. Production took place at the RR factory, which is why these models are also known as the ‘Derby Bentley’.
As Bentley only supplied the chassis and mechanicals, the first owner had to choose a coachbuilder for the body. He chose Arthur Mulliner (not to be confused with H.J. Mulliner), who was known for clear and restrained coachwork.
B62CR was imported to Switzerland in 1977 and has had three long-term owners since then. The car is in unrestored original condition. This means that the body and interior are authentic and have a good patina. On the mechanical side, the car has always been very well maintained and all necessary work has been carried out. Invoices for the last 25 years are also available. Among other things, the engine has been completely overhauled.
