The Mercedes-Benz SLK is a model range introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 1996. The SLK is a roadster that is smaller and more affordable than the well-known Mercedes SL. A distinctive feature of the SLK is its folding steel roof, which Mercedes-Benz also refers to as the ‘Vario-roof’. When open, it retracts completely and automatically into the boot of the SLK.
